Karen has been singing since the age of 10. She started off in a Duo with her mother who at one time won Opportunity Knocks. Karen was classically trained at an early age.
Karen had an established band called "The Karen West Band" for many years. Playing R.A.F camps, Hotels, Clubs, Pubs also working abroad.
Karen has won the best of Leicester female vocal award in 1994-1995 and runner up in 1997.
Singing everything from the 50`s - 60`s material , has had parts in Peak Practice, Boon, Freddie Starr Show, and also has worked in Spain alongside Johnny Hacket & Dean Michaels (ex Black Lace).
