Jayne is performing on 3 major cruises this year, as well as being a panelist on the TV show `The Wright Stuff` & `Loose Woman`. Jayne is without doubt , an outstanding personality vocalist with class & great style, and has had many successful sell out tours and endless TV appearances. In August rehearsals started for a new musical show `Strictly Ballroom Dancing` Jane is co-star in this touring show with Lionel Blair TV appearances to date include... `Have I Been Here Before?`, `This Morning`,`Des & Mel`, Paul O`Grady Show`, `The Wright Stuff`. Jane continues her role as panelist on the popular daytime show `Loose Women` watched by over 1.1 million people and Jane is also a guest panelist on the `The Wright Stuff` Jane has completed a highly successful 48 national tour entitled `You Belong To Me`which is Jane`s fifth album , featuring four of her own compositions. In March the album reached silver status (60,000) and is still climbing. `Being Jayne` is released on DVD, Produced & Directed by Chris Terrill, who originally filmed Jane on `The Cruise` back in 1997. "Live In Southport" is released onto DVD heading straight into the DVD charts at number 6.
The first half of 2004 was spent writing songs and the second half was spent in the recording studio both here in th U.K and in Poland; recording & producing the new album `You Belong To Me` TV appearances include presenting `Good Food Live` & Jayne became a regular panelist on `Loose Women`
2003 begins with Jane continuing her role in `Romeo & Juliet`. Jane hits the road again on a 31 date tour over the summer . Charity events this year include a 10,000 feet jump from an Hercules Aeroplane in a TV show called `Drop The Celebrity` `The Collection` album was released by Spectrum on the 7th of April
Jane makes her West End debut in Don Black`s musical `Romeo & Juliet`. Jane played the role of the `Nurse ` singing songs written by Gerard Presgurvic. Jane attended many charity events namely The Heat/Crusade Auction, NOJOS (Help The Aged). A Night On The Ocean Waves (in aid of the Meningitis Trust), Child Of Achievement Charity Cruise and a Wessex Heart Charity Concert. Jane acted as a judge on the `Talent Category` of The WHSmith Book Awards. TV appearances included `Live Lunch`, `Lunchtime Live`, & `This Morning` Jane toured again this time with a 17 date tour.
Due to public demand, Jane`s concert dates in October/November 2001, emulated the success of her previous sell out tours. Jane performed at major outdoor concerts at Harewood House, in the North of England and the largest British outdoor festival , `Festival of the Sea` in portsmouth, which attracted over 380,000 people over 3 days.
Jane performed her American concert at the EFX Theatre at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Live video `Jane McDonald Live In Las Vegas` recorded at the prestigious MGM Grand was released on the 15th October. Jane completed work on her new album `Love At The Movies` which was released on the 15th October. A new series of `Star For A Night` commenced once again with outstanding viewing figures with the live Grand Final being held on 20th October 2001.
